FOUR LEFT PARTIES TO BUILD STRONG MOVEMENT AGAINST BLACK LAW

The state leaders of Four Left Parties held a meeting at Deshbhagat Yaadgar Hall, Jalandhar yesterday under the presidentship of Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla. The meeting was attended by Comrades Hardev Arshi, Bant Brar, Jagroop Singh and Sarwan Singh akalpuri from CPI, Charan Singh Virdi, Vijay Misra and Raghunath Singh from CPI(M), Mangat Ram Pasla, Harkanwal Singh and Kulwant Singh Sandhu from CPM Punjab, Gurmit Singh Bakhtpura, Sukhdarshan Natt and Ruldu Singh Mansa from CPI(ML) Liberation.
Through a resolution adopted by the meeting of the Left parties they strongly condemned the ‘ Punjab Prevention Of Damage To Public And Private Property Act – 2014’ enacted by the Badal led Akali – BJP government to suppress the voice of protest against the misdeeds and anti people policies of the central and state governments. They decided to building a strong movement in
Punjab to get this draconian law scrapped which is an attack on the democratic right of the people . It was also decided to extended full support to the ,Human Right Day’ on 10th December and to all other organizations who are protesting against this law.
The meeting of the Left Parties thanked the people for a very good and encouraging response to the week long Jatha March programme in support of the 15 points demand charter which concluded on 7th December and congratulated party workers for the successful conduct of the Jatha March through their tireless efforts. It was decided to hold joint meetings at district and tehsil levels to effectively organise 500 political conferences in the state by the end of January, 2016.
